It’s All About the Red and Gold

October 24, 2017

On September 9, 2017, our clients married at the Terrace Banquet Centre with a décor theme that encompassed interesting colour shades and textures. Upon the happy couple’s request, the wedding used the primary palette of red, gold and white and incorporated natural elements into the actualevent design. To begin, our DT Floral & Décor team designed a beautiful sweetheart table for the bride and groom, which consisted of a dark oak table with red roses and dahlias mixed with larger leaf arrangements lining the edges, two grand-looking upholstered chairs in white, and finished with a draped backdrop with aged branches, complete with a Love sign in soft lights. Our team carried this theme into the wedding cake table, with the all-white cake sitting on top of a tree trunk round board and a wooden barrel. The guest tables were covered with cream and gold patterned linen. Each place setting included a gold charger and deep red cloth napkin, which circled around a red and white floral arrangement paired with gold lanterns and cream coloured candles, sitting on top of the same tree trunk boards as the wedding cake. We utilized our DT Floral & Décor custom wooden wheeled cart as a rustic photo booth, with a wooden weaved backdrop with gorgeous green ivy covering the backdrop. An elegant way to bring wonderful wooden natural elements together with luxurious décor.
